The BOMA Standard Method for Measuring Floor
Area in Office Buildings has become an industry standard for commercial
office leasing (see the BOMA area of this site). The latest standard
helps to allocate all areas of the building, including services areas,
ground floor lobbies and building common areas, into rentable area.
Upon completion of a complete building survey, we can produce a global
summary spreadsheet to clearly layout the exact allocation of space to
each tenant. Each suite is calculated with a useable, basic rentable
and rentable area. The spreadsheet is easily edited to reflect new leases
and modifications to suite sizes.
For most applications, the summary will create one total building rentable
area, which will not change for the life of the building, barring any
base building alterations. |
